Spiderman 3

The thing that I hate so much with this Spiderman movie is how helpless and annoying Mary Jane is. I mean, after the third movie and after being kidnapped for the third time you’d expect her to at least take some self defense class or something instead of just screaming helplessly with that annoying girly shrill. All she does is screams and get in everybody’s way of saving the world!

And what’s with the American flag scene? Oh my god! That was just too cliché and totally unnecessary. Not that I have anything against the American flag or something, but I can’t help rolling my eyes during this scene.

Spiderman 3 is a disappointment, I tell you that. For me personally, it’s not about the story itself, because pretty much we all know what’s going to happened from the comics. Although I do think that all of the villains are all a bit ‘soft’ and not as ‘villainish’ as they’re suppose to be. You know what I mean?

Venom’s role was too little for my satisfaction. I know.. I know.. They still need to insert a lot of things in the movie and for 140 minutes there’s only so many things you could compress into a movie. But I don’t care. Make it a five hour movie if you have too. If any movie deserve to be made longer, a legendary Spiderman is one of them, am I right?

All and all, what’s my reaction after watching Spiderman 3? All I can do is sigh.. I give this movie 2 stars out of 5.
